As I Remember It

Around 5:30 Drek comes to my door. He has with him three red roses. "The best part of my day is seeing you."
Our first stop it a Frisbee golf course. We had a lot of fun, it was a beautiful afternoon and I did much better than our previous game. When that was finished he hands me three more roses. "The funnest part of my day is playing games with you."
Next we go out to dinner, which was wonderful. Afterward I got three more roses.
He told me he had looked up another geocache. He had already programed the coordinates into his GPS. when we drove up the canyon he handed it to me. The title was my name, the description was "I love you."
He also said this geocache was an Easter geocache.
We hiked up the mountainside until we came to a bunch of rocks. Instead of looking for the geocache we went for a short walk where he asked me what three things I wanted most in life.
Around 8:00 went back to the rocks. I searched one side he searched the other but it was getting very dark. He finally came over to my side and found it right away. It was in a peanut butter jar (a perfect Claire and Charlie peanut butter jar). Inside was the Easter grass and lots of plastic eggs. The things with geochaches is there are a lot of items inside and you pick the one you want.
Inside the eggs were little pieces of paper with things written on them like "become a professional puppy-killer" and "move to Alaska". things I would never want to do. "You have to pick one." he says. "or, I may have another option. It will take a long long time. It will take a lot of effort. But we are perfect for it." And he hands me an egg with a ring inside.
Oh yes, and I got three more roses.

Let the whole world know
that today is a day of reckoning
Let the weak be strong,
let the right be wrong
Roll the stone away, let the guilty pay,
It's (Liberation) day

Hooray! Two years today! and oddly enough, the past has repeated its self. hmmm. . .
Anyway,
Dinner at Old Spaghetti Factory at 7:00, games at my house at 8:30. Everyone is invited.

Life Continues On

-I am so ready to be done with training. It's not really that bad, I'd just like to get through the work day without having to listen to a conversation about lesbians and sex with pillows. It would also be nice to make it through a work day without hearing the F word half a dozen times.
-I want to run away to Texas. My Grandma is encouraging this. I hope it works out.
-My diet is now almost complete. I am no longer allergic to cheese, milk, chocolate, or preservitives. Tomorrow we shall find out about corn.
-Movies!!!!

One Month to the Day of Doom

I have a life list of goals. This list was supposed to be compleated by April 8, 2007 a.k.a. my 21st birthday.
I'm so not going to make it.
Not only that, but 21 is just old. I don't want to be 21! I like telling people I'm 20, it sounds nice. I've always hated birthdays, but this one looms more dreaded.

Óglaigh na hÉireann

Of course I want more!!

This miliatry organization's first demonstation went something like this:
Weapons were supplied by Germany under the auspices of a leading human rights campaigner - including over 20,000 rifles and 10 machine guns. However, the plot was discovered and the weapons were lost when the ship carrying them was scuttled to prevent the arms from falling into the hands of the ememy.
When the Rising broke out, the Volunteer leader found out about the plot at the last minute and issued countermanding orders to Volunteer units around the country. As a result, less than 2000 Volunteers out of 12,000 turned out. The plan was to seize a compact area and launch simultaneous Risings around the country. In the event, the rising consisted of a week's street fighting in the capital after which the rebels surrendered. The enemy used overwhelming force, including over 16,000 troops, artillery and a naval gunboat, to put down the rebellion. Over half the 500 or so killed were civilians caught in the crossfire.

If You Act Like It's Summer, It Will Be Summer.

Yesterday Drek and I went a snow hike. It was very peaceful. We saw lots of dear and somewhere around a thousand wild turkeys.
After the hike we decided to sit in an outdoor hot tub and eat ice cream. It really wasn't as cold as I thought it would be. That is until I had to get out of the hot tub and walk around barefoot and wet on snow.
Later we went out to dinner with Krateizling to Red Lobster. It was delicious. And very warm after being so cold.

Not-So-Quick Update

I went to San Diego. On the flight to Las Vegas I stared at the guy sitting in front of me, pretty much the whole time, trying to figure out if he was someone I knew. At the Las Vegas airport he came up to me. He was!! It turned out we were both going to San Diego so we sat next to each other and watched an edited version of "Little Miss Sunshine" on my laptop. It made the flight bearable anyway.
I stayed in California for three days. The first day I got to take the train up to Anaheim and a Taxi to Disney land.

I know it's blurry. This is a pidgon inside the Train Station. As in "Zim. There's a pidgon on your head. You have head pidgons. Leave before you infect the other children."

Waiting at the Train Station

The kids were great. We were exhausted by the end of the day. Posh Spice cut in front of us in line. I only know it was her because the people behind us completely freaked out. Even after I told the kids who she was they didn't understand. They had never heard of the Spice Girls.
Day two was a Mardi Gras party were I had a very strange green drink. It was supposed to be "the Disneyland version because this is a family friendly party." It was still strange. I wrote my story for the ESSC that night. Maybe that will explain why it was so weird. The story, not the drink.
Day three we took a hike in the canyons. It was beautiful. Later that day was my flight home.

The next weekend Drek and I went drove to Las Vegas.

The drive was fantastic, so much better than flying. We stayed with my Aunt and Uncle. They were so wonderful to us. We visited the Casinos, watched the fountain show at the Belagio and visited the LDS temple. The temple was the only place we took pictures.

That night we went on the thrill rides on the Stratosphere. It was amazing. we had so much fun. Another life goal completed. On Sunday we went with my Aunt and Uncle to their Methodist church. That was amazing. The songs were wonderful and I even got to do Communion because the "wine" was just grape juice. We drove home that day. It was a wonderful trip.

I didn't watch the Oscars. It was a sad habit anyway. Time to give it up.

Krisling got me a job at her work. I'm so excited to start!! It means I'll have to quit my Nannying job, but that is a good thing.
