Bells' babies are finlly old enough to take to the Shelter. Campurnicus is adorable. He is a very smart and curious cat. The twins are not so aware of their surroundings, they just wrestle all day. Joining the passle was a stray baby kitty, who is a long-haired cat. She is named FlufflyPuff. She is very scared of humans, compared to the other kitties who love nothing more to be hugged and held and petted. Everyone should go to their local animal shelter and adopt a kitty.
I need to find a cut outfit for Acouchi to wear the day I get married. I was thinking of just putting white bows in her hair, but now I think having her in a flower girl dress would be adorable. Where would I find such a thing?
Also, 10 more days!! And as a small warning, there will be a Jack and Jill shower on Tuesday, July 3 from 7-9pm. FYI, a Jack and Jill shower is a party where both boys and girls can come and celebrate a wedding. It will be be very casual, and there will be free food. Everyone should come.

11 Days
Saturday was AMAZING!! It was nothing like I expected, but so much better. Hopefully we're going back today. I'm so excited!
Sunday was hilarious. I teach Sunbeams (the 3-4 yr olds in Sunday School) and it was out turn to teach all the kids (ages 5-8) during Sharing Time. So, all my little kids were up in front of the microphone, telling all they knew about baptism. It was so cute!! Actually, it was more than that. They did a great job. Then we opened the font and all the kids got to see where they would be baptized. Then we played this really cute game my co-teacher came up with. It was a hit.
Later that Day Drek and I went up to his parents house, where we played Settlers of Zarahemla with his siblings. I was going to win (for sure, no matter what) on my turn. Drek happened to go right before me, and decided he was tired of the game, so he cheated and ended the game. Grrrr. Just so everyone knows, I was SO going to win.
Drek is officially moved in to our little apartment. I'm almost moved in. Hooray!!
People will start showing up for the wedding next Thursday. I'm so excited I can hardly stand it. I want to see my cousin!! Krisface will be down sometime that day too. Ah!! About to explode from excitement!!
Rumour has it laser tag sometime this week? So ready for that! Last Monday Drek and I took our dads (and families) laser tagging for Father's day. It was a blast. I actually did pretty well! I'm excited to play again.

18 more days
Let's see...Invitaions, reservations, rings, hair and makup, apartment, marriage licence, photophrapher, cake, food, bridesmaid gifts and shirts, plans, tickets, all done! Things left to do: Wedding dress and a suit for the Groom. Don't those things usually get done first?

Post one-hundred-one: Long Ramblings
For the last two days, the only songs I have been listening to are "Remember When It Rained" By Josh Groban and "umbrella" by Rihanna. Not that I have a thing for rain right now or anything, the songs are just SO GOOD!! I can't STOP listening to them. They're the kind of song that just sings to your soul. Oh. So good.
Ever since I hurt my foot I have not been exercising. I haven't been walking around, and I have been tired all the time. Yesterday I woke up exhausted (again) and decided I needed to exercise or I would die. That afternoon I did a bunch of yard work and mowed the lawn. It made me feel better and gave me a small boost of energy. I used that energy to hike the Y.
I up with friends just as the sun was beginning to set. The hike is only supposed to take 45 minutes, but took much longer because we found numbered, colored boxes all the way up with little riddles inside. It gave the answer to a previous riddle and then asked a new one. At first we thought it was a guy doing in for his girlfriend, and the last question would be "will you marry me?" but as it turns out, it was an activity for a singles ward. The point was to rescue some watermelon. Which I guess that failed at, because I am sure those watermelons ended up being brutally butchered.
It was great fun, although I really hurt my foot. I feel much better today though. Much better.

Crutches
I hate crutches!! My palms are so bruised they hurt worse than my foot does! I've gone into Maceys twice already (and I want to keep going back) becase they let me drive around on the little electric cart. It is a blast to drive.
I can't carry anything, including my purse, because it throws my balance off and I will fall. Yeasterday was the Employee Create n Take. I have been looking forward to it for over a month. The company gave us the paper and supplies we needed, and then showed us how to make five different, darling cards. I put the bag with my cards on my purse, but somone else had to carry it out to the car. On the way they fell out of my purse and I didn't notice. My beautiful cards are all lost and gone. :(
The good news is that my foot is healing really fast. I should be off of crutches by Monday!

How to Entertain Yourself in a Hospital Emergency Room
1- Read boring magazines
2- Update blog using Drek's laptop and the hospital free wireless
3- Send Drek out to the car to grab "Pirates Dice" (thanks again Xirax!)
4- Explain to passing hospital workers that this IS the game from Pirates II, not Pirate Yahtzee. Pirates DO NOT play Yahtzee
5- Blow up plastic gloves
6- Bat the blown up plastic glove between two people.
7- Pay a full on version of Calvin Ball using the blown up plastic glove.
8- Draw a face on the Blown up plastic glove
9- On the other side of the blown up plastic glove, write "release me". attach the blown up plastic glove to a 16 inch Q-tip and wave it out into the hallway.
10- Form a line where the back person is on a rolly chair and the front person in a wheel chair and roll around the room (and the hallway).
11- Upon discovering that the wheelchair handles are removable, write an S.O.S. note and stuff it inside the wheelchair handle.
13- Switch rapidly between laughing hysterically and almost having a panic attack because you've been in this room for so freaking long!
14- Recruit the janitor (who happens to be an old friend) into talking the nurses into releasing you
15- Become more daring in wheeling aforementioned line out into hallway and waving the aforementioned "release me" blown up plastic glove.
16- Discuss ways to stage a break out
17- Announce loudly that you are going to stage a break out
18- Stage a break out.
After 4 hours, it was determined that my foot is not broken, but "you were assessed in a triage situation so please contact your primary care physician"
Gah!

Brodcasting live, from the hostpital...
Picture this:
It's a beautiful day outside, the sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and the Quark social is in full swing. Natrally, a game of Ultimate frisbee breaks out. I'm in the end zone. The frisbee is thrown to me. I start running. So does black-shirt-guy. we get to the frisbee at the same time, we both grab it, we both are NOT letting go. Suddenly, I am on the ground(frisbee still in hand, thank you very much) and my foot is KILLING me. No problem, I'll just walk it off. Well, the more I walk, the worse it gets. I sit down for a while but when I try to walk on it again it hurts even more. I finally make it home. My mother decideds to take me to the emergency room. My foot has been X-rayed and we are now waiting for the doctor to show up and deliver the news. Oh, the anticipation.

I can't lift my arms higher than my shoulders
My dad is fine. He has a major infection, but nothing antibiotics can't cure.
My sister is also fine. No letter. Tony will also be fine, as apparently you have spend 16 + hours a day for 6 months with someone who has TB in order for you to catch it.
Krisface left on Saturday. :( I was not there to say goodbye. I miss her already.
My family did end up going to the Condo. We had a blast. I will post pictures and details in my next blog.
On Sunday Drek and I drove down south to go Canyoneering with some of his friends. We spent 13 hours on Monday hiking, climbing, rappelling, swimming and something where you wander around, having no idea where you are going or how to get there, using no trail, and scratching yourself to death on branches and rocks. They called this "bushwhacking". I had a blast!! But now, I am more sore than I have ever been in my life. Ouch.

You told me this would be a happy day.
How today was supposed to go:
Wake up, got to work, say good-bye to be bestest friend Kris, go home from work, go on vacation!!
But no.
Stayed up much to late because of the excitement of Pirates. it's very worth seeing by the way.
My little sister should be getting a letter from the public school system today, telling her if she has been exposed to a public school student with TB. If she has, she cannot go to EFY, she cannot go anywhere, and my niece will not be allowed over for a very long time.
Krisface is also stressed because her house is not "move ready." They are not leaving today, maybe.
I am at work, and my mother calls to say my dad is in the hospital. He has exploding appendix.
Not that I'm stressing or anything...

This week in review. . .
Monday was movie night. Drek finally got me to watch Sgt. bilko, which was so much better than I thought it was going to be.
Tuesday was Kratizling's good-bye party. We had a great time playing laser tag, and then went to Red Robin for a delicious dinner. Ah, Red Robin, so many memories.
Wednesday was the 2-hr season finale of LOST!!! And oh what a great finale it was. Drek and I went over to Kratizling's house for a delicious crab and shrip alfredo pizza and to watch the show together. We were joind by Panda and Bamboo, two newly adopted kitties. They were both darling, until Bamboo decided he wanted attention and would not stop meowing during the show.
Today is, of course, Pirate day. Drek and I have tickets to go see At World's End at 8:00 tonight. I am so excited. Arrr.
Friday I will be off to another city, where I will come back only breifly on Sunday, and then flee South to go on my first Canyoneering adventure. That will be on Monday.

On Thursday I forgot to put my ring back on after I got out of the shower. I left the house without it. It bothered me all day. It wasn't just a little annoying, having the ring gone, it was grating. I kept checking my finger with my thumb and then panicking because I thought it had fallen off. All. Day. Long. Remind me never to do that again.
Today I am a bridesmaid in Megan's wedding. I spent all of yesterday afternoon and most of the night with her. Wedding stuff is insane. Why doesn't everyone just get married on a boat? All the cool people do.
I'm supposed to wear these stiletto heals to walk down the isle. The problem is I have a hard time with heels. Example : last time I wore heels I fell flat on my face walking from the Jury box to the witness stand. Pathetic. Megan promised to give be the strongest groomsmen to escort me down the isle. The idea is that then if I fall, it will be his fault.

Kitty!
Acouchi woke me up this morning by biting my chin. I think she remembers what happened last year around this time and is hungry for blood.
Bells had babies!! They are adorable! There are four little kitties; three girls and one boy. They were born three days ago.

After much deliberation, I have decided how I feel about having a reception:

So there will be no reception. There will be a BBQ with fireworks, and a waterfight. This is how I feel now:

Bridesmaids
Life is moving along. Things are falling into place for the wedding.
It occurred to me that all but one of my bridesmaids are far away. This is fine, but makes the dresses part difficult. Thank goodness we live in an age of picture-messages, IM, email and long distance phone calls.
Even more amazing, all of them are going to extremes to accommodate me. Rissy will be in Japan up until the day before the reception. It has been her life long dream to go, (she's leaving next week) and she's coming home early just for me. Not only that, but she rearranged her entire plan to come back early and had to pay hundreds of dollars in fees to switch her plane tickets. Kara will be at Yale until a few days before (I think, I'm not sure when she's coming, actually, I'm just glad she's coming. I'm so excited to see her!). She is a grad student and is supposed to be doing research in a lab when she comes out. She was going to use her time off of work to drive her best friend across the country, but now has to worry about coming here.
Krisface will be back from who-knows-where who-knows-when. She might even bring hubby-what's-his-face with her, but that is uncertain.
Megan will actually be here. Mostly. She's leaving to go on her honeymoon, but will be back a month before my wedding. I am a bridesmaid in her wedding (in May) and she has had to adjust us talking about her weeding plans, to listening to me talk about my wedding plans. Not only that, but being apart of two weddings in two months has to be stressful.
But they are all wonderful and I am very glad they all agreed to be my bridesmaids.

So . . . Very. . . Tired
Krisling and I have developed our own language which consists mainly of kitty pictures. Examples forthcoming.
I am so sick. I have decided having mono this time will not be fun like it was last time (but this time, I am not contagious).
Saturday is Haunted house day!! Everyone should come. We're going up SLC for the very last day Rocky Point is open.
Drek and I are reading Dr. Doolittle. Or rather, he is reading it to me while I am sick. It is very nice to be read to.

1 hour, 11 minutes
The Quark social today was a lot of fun. There was a great turnout, everyone had a good time, and the highlight of the afternoon was Cardassin's arm's suddenly spewing blood. That and Krisling's mad goalie skills.
My plan was to spend the rest of the driving up and down the freeway, hoping to run into a drunk driver, or rather, having the drunk driver run into me, but instead i went home and slept for three hours. Oh yes, I have Mono again. Joy. I was so tired yesterday at work that I came home and decided to take a ten minute nap. That was at 5:00pm. I woke up at 9:00am the next day.
Drek came home early today. He had gone canyoneering down in South. It was good to see him.

My Brain Now Goes Every-which-way
I shall start this blog by saying Conference was amazing. Also, I have the most wonderful boyfriend in the world.
I've decided that I should stop worring about how old I'm going to be and enjoy the last few precious days of youth I have left. I would never wish to go back before I was eighteen, being that old was just no fun. But eighteen and nineteen were good ages to be, and I especially lke being 20. Besides, I think my wonderful boyfriend wouldn't have dated me if I was nineteen.
In conclusion, Linkin Park has a new album coming out. It is amazing.
